“Courage and the Martial Arts”

Courage is result of self confidence. Obtaining the level of Black Belt requires courage. There's no substitute for the confidence you gain from working out and training everyday.

Open you mind and body to new challenges. You can develop courage if you acknowledge what is before you and press on with purpose and welcome challenges. A failure to achieve a specific goal is only a defeat when we don’t learn from the experience.... adjust and move forward with new knowledge.

There are no shortcuts to success. Success in martial arts, as in life, comes only through hard work and dedication to achieving our goals. Worthwhile accomplishments require, Dedication and Courage. It takes courage to avoid what appears to be a shortcut to success.

To be a good martial artist, you must be willing to give a 100% of your Mind - Body - Spirit.

Be excited when presented opportunities to perform under pressure. Courage is developed by doing and learning while under pressure. A true martial artist is at their best when the pressure is on.

Remain calm in uncomfortable circumstances and your courage will grow. Your courage and confidence will grow with each level of achievement gained. Remain calm and watch for opportunities.

Martial artists develop courage thru years of dedication, training, and teaching others. Courage is the quality that drives us to break down walls when it seems we just can't go further. It allows us to perform at our best, while training for  Higher Goals.

Courage is a measure of your heart, and inner strength. Your Heart gives you inner strength and when combined  with courage, achieving your goals are within reach.

Courage developed in martial arts will carry into your daily life, giving you the confidence to manage all of life's situations.
